Neurofeedback Therapy
Available at Rowan House is Neurofeedback Therapy. This is a non-invasive treatment. By training the brain’s electrical activity through real-time brainwave measurements, neurofeedback therapy helps regulate emotions, thoughts and behaviors, cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
It can also identify and address irregular brainwave patterns contributing to mental health symptoms, such as anxiety and depression. For those with addiction issues Neurofeedback can aid in breaking the cycle by promoting clearer thinking and reducing cravings. Additionally, for trauma survivors, Neurofeedback therapy helps reduce trauma-related symptoms and enhances emotional regulation. Rowan House uses this therapy to enable clients to actively participate in their recovery, optimize brain functionality, improve mental well-being, develop coping strategies, and improve quality of life.
