Introducing
Rowan House

We are delighted to introduce you to Rowan House in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Rowan House, established in June 2023, is a small scale, privately owned, specialist residential facility, designed to offer psycho-social rehabilitation services. It is tailored specifically to individuals seeking support for substance misuse, addictions, mental health issues and healing from trauma. It is also a ‘safe place’ for clients looking for sober living support. Referrals from the Drug Treatment Courts and Veterans Affairs Canada are accepted.

You will find Rowan House in the downtown area of historic Dartmouth. It is conveniently located close to the famed King’s Wharf on the harbour front, the ferry terminal for crossings to Halifax and the beautiful Banook lake. Banook has a variety of water sports and activities such as an outdoor gym, pretty hiking trails and so on. Overall it is a wonderful location: all amenities are within walking distance.

Rowan House is a boutique, urban-style retreat.  Featuring private accommodation, a comfortable environment, supportive and professional staff which combined creates a safe place for healing. Residential services are typically organised over a 6-week period but flexible options are available for shorter stays.
