Drug Treatment Courts
Court-Mandated Structured Rehabilitation
Drug Treatment Courts
Rowan House provides structured psycho-rehabilitation services for individuals participating in Drug Treatment Court programs.
Our approach integrates Occupational Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) within a structured rehabilitation framework designed to support accountability, behavioural change, and functional reintegration.
Services may include:
• Structured relapse prevention planning
• Cognitive restructuring and impulse regulation
• Trauma-informed intervention
• Behavioural accountability tracking
• Functional goal setting and routine rebuilding
• Employment and community reintegration planning
• Court-compliant progress reporting
The Structured Rehabilitation Program aligns with Drug Treatment Court mandates by emphasizing measurable outcomes, documented participation, and behavioural compliance.
We work collaboratively with legal teams, probation officers, and court systems to provide clear, objective reporting while maintaining a therapeutic, trauma-informed framework.
This is not simply counselling. It is structured behavioural rehabilitation with defined targets, accountability metrics, and functional recovery goals.
Drug Treatment Court participants are typically enrolled within Rowan House’s broader Structured Psycho-Rehabilitation Program to ensure continuity of care and measurable recovery progression.
Rowan House’s comprehensive approach aligns well with the goals of drug treatment courts in Nova Scotia. Its focus on mental health, addictions, and trauma, combined with sober living accommodation, provides a holistic framework. This can enhance participants’ rehabilitation by addressing underlying issues, fostering emotional regulation, and promoting skill development, aligning with the principles of trauma-informed care. The inclusion of respite options further supports individuals in maintaining stability during their recovery journey, potentially contributing positively to drug treatment court outcomes.
