Trauma-Informed Occupational Therapy
Individual Support Within the Rowan-House SPR Framework
Rowan-House offers trauma-informed Occupational Therapy designed to support emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and return to meaningful life roles.
Individual sessions draw from the Rowan-House Structured Psycho-Rehabilitation (SPR) framework, integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH), and occupational therapy focused on restoring stability and functional wellbeing.
Sessions are tailored to each individual and focus on practical strategies that support everyday life.
What Occupational Therapy Can Support
Individual sessions may help individuals experiencing:
• emotional dysregulation and stress overwhelm
• trauma-related symptoms
• burnout or nervous system exhaustion
• difficulty maintaining routines or daily structure
• challenges returning to work or meaningful activities
The goal is not only psychological insight, but rebuilding stability, resilience, and functional engagement with life.
The Rowan-House SPR Framework
The Rowan-House Structured Psycho-Rehabilitation (SPR) framework combines:
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH)
• Trauma-informed Occupational Therapy
• Functional rehabilitation principles
Many individuals begin with 1:1 sessions and later join the SPR cohort program, a structured online group designed to support ongoing recovery and skill development.
Integration & Skills Sessions
Rowan-House also offers Integration & Skills Sessions, open group sessions that focus on practical regulation skills, resilience, and applying insights from therapeutic work.
These sessions can complement both individual therapy and the SPR cohort program.
