Settle. Reset. Rebuild.

Seven days to settle your nervous system, reconnect with yourself and begin creating the foundation for healthier habits.

When life becomes overwhelming, it can be difficult to pause, think clearly, maintain routines or follow through on the changes we want to make. At Rowan-House, we begin with stabilization: creating a supportive environment to practise nervous-system regulation, reconnect with personal strengths and explore what meaningful change might look like.

Our 7-Day Stabilization & Reset Intensive brings together practical learning, meaningful activity, reflection, movement and community connection in a small-group residential experience.

Why focus on nervous-system stabilization?

Ongoing stress can affect attention, emotional regulation, sleep and our ability to establish consistent routines. Learning and practising ways to become more grounded may help create room for choice, reflection and new habits. We don't need to be perfectly calm to begin making changes; regulation is a skill we develop over time.

What is already working in your life? What would feeling more settled make possible? What small step could move you towards the life you want to create?

What to expect over the seven days

  • Breathwork and grounding: Guided practices to build nervous-system awareness and support regulation.
  • Meditation and reflection: Space to notice thoughts, emotions and patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.
  • SPR psychoeducation: Accessible learning about stress responses, stabilization, behavioural patterns and daily routines.
  • Meaningful activity: Practical hands-on projects, creativity and collaborative tasks that encourage problem-solving, participation, contribution and a sense of accomplishment.
  • Movement and nature: Gentle activity, stretching and local outdoor experiences when appropriate and weather permitting.
  • Group connection: Shared learning and supportive conversations in a respectful, trauma-informed setting.
  • Habit formation: Practising realistic, manageable actions that can carry into everyday life.

First we settle. Then we build.

Rowan-House combines solution-focused conversations and Socratic questioning with learning through doing. Rather than focusing only on difficulties, we explore existing strengths, available resources and practical possibilities. Each activity offers another opportunity to build confidence, practise skills and notice what works for you.
